Guidebooks will list hundreds (thousands?) of things to do and see in NYC. New Yorkers could add many more to the list. And while I love the lights of Broadway, the verve of the village, and the shopping throughout the city...sometimes I need a trip to the outer boroughs.

Brooklyn has great pizza, but the Bronx has baseball. My trip had to include a visit to see the House that Ruth Built alongside it's shiny new replacement.
