Both Valencia and Madrid were decked out and ready for Christmas when we arrived on Thanksgiving. When we went to the Prado, then to the Cirque show, we came out to find the dark streets of Madrid all lit up in festivity. Our last day there we even found a Christmas market. It wasn't anything like what I hear they have in Germany, but it was pretty special when we happened upon the group of women singing carols. Check out the video at the bottom.
It still isn't this festive in Sofia, though it seems to be coming, slowly, but surely. For now, enjoy Spain!
